Birth Support
A birth doula is a non-medical birth support person who aids in your physical and emotional well-being during labor. Doulas can provide valuable information regarding the birthing process and help you prepare for the birth that you desire. Physical comfort measures during labor can include massage, positioning, and other techniques that can encourage the labor process to unfold. Emotional support in the form of affirmations, advocacy, and empowerment of the birthing person are also key components to a doulas spectrum of work.
Price: $1,400
I offer a traditional support model for birth clients. This includes:
2 prenatal visits —1 hour per visit
Support at birth
2 postpartum visits —1 hour per visit
Birth - 6 weeks unlimited virtual emotional support
I believe everyone deserves support. If you cannot afford a doula, do not hesitate to reach out to me. I offer both a sliding scale (pay what you can) and pro-bono slots when available.
